NAGPUR, April 29: Naresh Shelke of Marathi daily Sakal and Amit Sampat of The Times of India have been elected as President and Secretary of Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) during the annual general meeting and elections held on Sunday.
The entire executive committee was elected unopposed for a term of three years (2025-2028).
Advocate Paritosh Pathak was the Election Officer.
The new Executive Committee:
President: Naresh Shelke (Sakal); Vice-President: Nilesh Deshpande (Lokmat Times); Secretary: Amit Sampat (The Times of India); Treasurer: Sujan Masid (Dainik Bhaskar); Joint Secretary: Piyush Patil (Maharashtra Times).
Committee members: Nikhil Kelapure (Navrashtra), Satish Dandare (Navbharat), Bipendra Kumar Singh (Metro Samachar), Deep Sudhakar (Lokmat Samachar).
