hubaneswar, May 12, 2026: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Odisha Sports Journalists Association (OSJA) was held on March 21, 2026 at the Utkal Journalists Association premises in Bhubaneswar.
The association’s annual expenditure for 2025-26 financial year and work plan for 2026-27 were approved. On this occasion, the new OSJA office bearers for 2026-2028 (for two years) were elected unanimously.
Sandeep Mishra retained the post of President for the 4th consecutive term. Ms. Samiskhya Patnaik, Tapan Kumar Swain and Suresh Kumar Swain were elected as the Working President, General Secretary and Treasurer respectively for the first time. Suresh Kumar Swain was the outgoing Secretary. He is also one of the Vice-Presidents in the Sports Journalists’ Federation of India’s Executive Committee.
Among others, Himanshu Patimishra, Sanjeeb Biswal, Debi Prasanna Mohanty were elected as Vice-Presidents while Debasis Sundaray, Subhalaxmi Bal, Bimal Kumar Roul were elected as joint secretaries. The newly-elected Executive Committee Members are K. Ravi, Sambit Mohapatra, Gnyanranjan Mishra, D. Niranjan Reddy, Shakti Prakash Nanda, Benudhar Das and Tushar Kumar Senapati.
