NOIDA: Amateur Sneha Singh carded two over par 74 in the third and final round to win the seventh leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at the Noida Golf Course on Friday. The youngster carded the day’s second best score after another amateur Hunar Mittal produced the day’s best of par 72 to finish on joint second with Amandeep Drall with 221.
Sneha, who led the field from the first round, did not have a great first nine as she had only two bogies on 2nd and 7th holes. She began with a bogey on the first and went three over on the sixth before parring 8th and 9th to go out with two over 38. On the return run she had birdies on the 10th and 15th and bogies on 11th and 14th. She parred the rest of the holes for an even par 36 to end the tournament at 74 for an overall total of217.
Mittar’s day’s best card of par 72 helped her tie with Amandeep Drall on 221 to end tied joint second. Further stroke behind were Vani Kapoor and Siddhi Kapoor on 222.
The 8th leg of the tour will be played at Gurugram from December 9.
