Swimming prodigy Srihari & Meraki Sports sign representation agreement

Srihari currently holds the National record across 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke and has achieved the B Qualification criteria for Tokyo 2020 (21) in 100m backstroke.

MUMBAI: Meraki Sport & Entertainment, one of India’s only fully integrated sport marketing agency, announced on Tuesday that it has signed an exclusive representation agreement with 19-year-old Indian swimming sensation, Srihari Nataraj.

Hailing from Bengaluru, the swimmer has established himself as the champion in the Indian swimming circuit, having shattered the National records in 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke on multiple occasions. Earlier last month the Karnataka state govt. conferred Srihari with the Eklavya Award for his achievements in swimming.

Srihari, who started his full-fledged training a couple of weeks back, spoke about the association and said, “I am excited to work with the team at Meraki Sport & Entertainment, who have been working exclusively with Olympic & Paralympic athletes since their inception. The upcoming years will be the most important ones in my career and having a professional outfit manage my off-field aspects is key. I am looking forward to working with Meraki”

Sharba Tasneem, Business Head – Talent & Content, Meraki Sport & Entertainment said, “We are delighted to have a prodigy like Srihari on-board. He has immense potential and represents values that we believe in. We are delighted to welcome him to the Meraki dug-out and are looking forward to working with him”.
